Medical workers at hospitals across the country continue to scramble for personal protective equipment (PPE) like clothing, masks, and hospital gowns.
Many people have been hoarding these now precious items, taking as many as they can off the shelves rather than giving them to the people who need them the most.
Dr. Sarosh Janjua knows all this firsthand. She was heading home from work at a Minnesota hospital when she got pulled over for speeding. The doctor was reportedly going 85 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Working directly with COVID-19 patients has left Sarosh and so many other medical professionals with feelings of isolation, exhaustion, and anxiety.
