Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may have stepped back from their senior royal duties last month, but they’re still trying to do their part in helping the world become a better place, one charitable effort at a time. Though Meghan and Harry just moved out to Los Angeles with baby Archie , they’re already diving into volunteer work to give back to communities that have been affected severely by the current coronavirus pandemic, and are making that their primary focus at the moment. According to an Us Weekly source, “Harry and Meghan’s No. 1 priority right now is helping those affected by the virus, especially the vulnerable.” So far, they’re off to a great start–last week, Meghan and Harry worked with Project Angel Food to deliver meals to people with critical illnesses that possess a greater risk of catching coronavirus. Meghan and Harry are so devoted to helping out that “they only leave their house for charity work,” a People source revealed . Though the pandemic isn’t allowing Harry explore the city in the way that a tourist would be able to, Meghan has taken it upon herself to show Harry the beauty of her state through service work. “Meghan said is she wanted to show Harry Los Angeles through the eyes of philanthropy,” Richard Ayoub, Project Angel Food’s executive director, told People . “There’s obviously a great deal of love and selflessness between them.” It’s pretty clear that Meghan and Harry’s mission is “to change lives for the better,” so I can’t wait to see what charitable thing these two do next!
